@ankurb It isn’t expensive. 250 bucks for 250MB is worth it. The speeds are terrific too. If I’m not mistaken it works at 2mbps+ speeds.

@ankurb Their 3G service is excellent when it works.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to ankurb

@ankurb It is. MTNL was much better when I started using it. I didn’t switch because I would have spent way too much if I did. Now I Skype.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to ankurb

Thanks to MTNL for all the free calls. It was fun for a couple of months. Now since reliability is more important, I use Airtel GSM.

via Twitter for iPhone

@ankur_sethi Don’t do that. They’re a waste.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to

Oh, Apple. Why couldn’t you have shipped Snow Leopard a little earlier? Now my disc is stuck in VA.

I wish iPhone OS supported more fonts.

PCalc is awesome. But my TI is better.

Creed are back together with a new single.

Pearl Jam’s ‘The Fixer’ video free on iTunes this week. Grab it.

@ankurb you’ll see your balance reduce once you’re back.

Whole lot of Mac users here. Snow Leopard is a Twitter trend!

Will now post at http://escapedsequence.c…
Also added a drop down menu for those who’d like to invert the colour scheme.

@ManishSinha Haven’t used my CC for anything other than verification on PayPal.

@rungta I went through that stage. Now I’ve started loving ‘Gill Sans’ again.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to rungta

@ankur_sethi If it’s a Visa/Mastercard it might work. But not the Electron/Maestro variants.

@sudhang I don’t think HTML character codes work on twitter.

RT @inboxzero Multitasking is like driving or oral sex—everybody just assumes they’re great at it until they start asking around.

The PSP Go looks so Nintendo-ish.

I like the Facebook iPhone App. Makes the mess that Facebook is a little easier to use.

I think I’ll have to flunk a few subjects this time. Just can’t pack all the learning into my schedule without doing that.

via Twitter for iPhone

@ankur_sethi I thought they’d specially have to hire people to make everything work on IE.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to

I just love this Vodafone ad. And the tune the ad ends with is just stuck in my head.

I can’t use the iPhone Simulator to test all my apps. What a pain!

A slew of blogs have skewed text sizes when visited on MobileSafari. Text inside h1, h2 tags look smaller than the body text of posts.

I thought the people who have access to Snow Leopard aren’t supposed to talk about it or review it publicly like this. http://bit.ly/iZCR9

via Twitter for iPhone

iPhone SDK 3 for Snow Leopard is only 400MB. The doc on ADC says that installing XCode is a prerequisite for the SDK. Makes sense.

via Twitter for iPhone

Wrong. GIMP is 20MB because it doesn’t work. Not because it is awesome.

via Twitter for iPhone

GIMP is Mac OS X native and only 20MB in size. Awesome.

@ap00rv I installed just the essentials. 10.5 specific packages, GCC + libraries. You can make out looking at the filenames.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to ap00rv

@bobbyfsh I recommend you use that too. We think alike.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to bobbyfsh

@ankur_sethi I think Opera should start focusing on improving the mobile browsing experience on shitty phones that support only Java apps.

NNW 3.2 Beta 12 seems pretty stable. They’ve also temporarily disabled ads from The Deck.

via Twitter for iPhone

@ap00rv You don’t need the latest version. I manually installed some of the packages from my 10.5.0 DVD on 10.5.8 and it worked just fine.

Just discovered the Processor Palette in the CHUD Tools in Xcode.

@ankur_sethi not just on the Mac. It’s slow even on Linux and Windows. It actually competes with IE.

Doesn’t Greyscale make Chromium look it’s sporting the ‘Marble’ appearance that Apple is supposed to be working on?

via Twitter for iPhone

Chromium 4’s Theme System is very cool.

via Twitter for iPhone

@ahujaankit No. Apple released the 3G on that day last year. Free unlocks as contracts expire.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to ahujaankit

I have an feeling someone at Airtel might leak the tools they use to unlock the iPhone 3G officially as they start using them on 22 August.

via Twitter for iPhone

@ankur_sethi I don’t think it has because this doesn’t happen on Bing. Unless Yahoo! forces this wonky behavior.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to

@ankurb First Yahoo Search says “It’s possible that you’re wrong” but as you look down you see it’s actually saying “You’re wrong jackass”.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to ankurb

@ankurb But instead of including a few results of “abhishek”, it removes all “xabhishek” results. No other engine corrects users this way.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to ankurb

@ankurb You’ll now easily be to make out which search engine’s results I’m most likely to ignore. http://yfrog.com/0nqi1p

via Twitter for iPhone

@namanb I have no idea. Introduction to Algorithms by CLRS is a good book. So is Drozdek.

@ap00rv Originally, the adaptor did not supply enough power to power both the cores. So both the battery and adaptor worked together.
